COCC researchers and students honored at PSU Value Day 2025 🏆🌟

On 13 March 2025, Prince of Songkla University (PSU) hosted PSU Value Day 2025 at the Conference Hall, 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, Hat Yai Campus. The event was organized to honor and recognize individuals with outstanding achievements across academic, research, and professional fields.

On this occasion, researchers and students from the Coastal Oceanography and Climate Change Research Center (COCC) were recognized with several prestigious awards, reflecting their excellence, dedication, and meaningful contributions to research, education, and society.

The award recipients included:

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Mathinee YucharoenNational Research Award (STS Forum Young Leaders Program 2024)

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutinee Sinutok Award for the Honor and Recognition of New Teacher Mentors, 2024 (Gold Pin)

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Mathinee Yucharoen, Mr. Wachara Samsuwan, Ms. Long Ying, Ms. Sopita Manarungreung, and Ms. Natthayada ThuasawatAward for Researchers Whose Research Benefits Commercial, Policy, Community, and Societal Use for the research project “Coral Reef Biodiversity of Koh Kham, Songkhla Province”

These awards highlight the significant impact of COCC’s research on academic advancement, policy development, community engagement, and sustainable marine resource management.
