COCC showcases our research at the 8th Marine Science Conference in Trang

Researchers and students from the Coastal Oceanography and Climate Change Research Center (COCC) participated in the 8th Marine Science Conference, held under the theme “Science, Technology, and Innovation for a Changing Sea” from 25–27 June 2025 at Rua Rasada Hotel, Trang Province.

The conference brought together researchers, academics, and students from institutions across Thailand to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration in marine science and environmental research. The event served as an important platform for sharing scientific findings that support sustainable ocean management amid increasing environmental change.

COCC presented a total of 11 academic contributions, including 5 oral presentations and 6 poster presentations. The research topics covered coastal ecosystem dynamics, the impacts of climate change on marine environments, and approaches to sustainable marine resource management. These studies reflect the Center’s ongoing commitment to generating scientific knowledge that supports evidence-based policy and conservation efforts.

Participation in the conference provided valuable opportunities to disseminate research outcomes, build academic networks, and enhance the skills of young researchers. The engagement also reinforces the Center’s mission to advance marine science and contribute to sustainable development in Thailand’s coastal and marine areas.
