The 1st International Conference on Climate Change, Biodiversity, Food Security and Local Knowledge

Two students, Ms.Pablina Cadiz and Ms.Ha Thi Thu Hue and lecturer, Assist.Prof.Dr. Siriporn Pradit from the faculty of Marine and Coastal Resources Institute and Coastal Oceanography and Climate Change Research Center participated in the 1st International Conference on Climate Change, Biodiversity, Food Security and Local Knowledge at ArthaWachana Christian University, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The two students presented their papers entitled “Biomass Estimates and Species Diversity of Mangrove Forests in Trang, Thailand” and “Modelling and Prediction of Fish Catch Landing in Songkhla Lagoon, Thailand Using Artificial Neural network, Multiple Adaptive Regression Spline and K-Nearest neighbor models”. The said conference invited Dr. Siriporn Pradit to attend the meeting on the Regional Consortium for Coastal Resource Management (CRM) in Asia. The meeting highlighted the possible CRM collaboration among academic institutions in Southeast Asia. The consortium is organized by the United Board for Christian Higher Education-Asia
